THE EMBROIDERED ZARA SHIRT

by - April 02, 2017

Wow, it's been ages since I've last posted something on my blog (that's nothing new though, I guess). Whenever I get back to blogging though, I'm just clueless on why I even stopped - documenting my outfits and writing are literally my favorite things to do.

Well, a few things have changed since I wrote my last blog post. I got a new DSLR camera, turned 24 and also started my last semester in uni. I don't know why and how but after turning 24 (on Wednesday) I felt a sudden and surprising rush of motivation. Suddenly I had so many things on my mind that I wanted to do and I actually went after them - which is quiet unlike me. I'm a dreamer not a goal getter... as sad as it is. But something has changed. After dreaming about going to Korea for 2 years, Ive finally booked my flight ticket - I'M GONNA FLY TO SEOUL IN OCTOBER! W-H-A-T?! No words can describe how excited I am. I also told myself to finally use my penny board (tiny skate board) that I had bought last year - and guess what.. today I taught myself how to use it. I was riding that board for 3 hours today and literally had the best time. That means that I can also tick that off my list. Last but not least I decided to get back to blogging - and here I am. Back - and honestly better than ever (definitely down to my new camera :P but also full of ideas for my blog and also my Youtube channel! - You can get excited :')

This outfit was clearly inspired by the 60s! - I styled this beautifully embroidered Zara shirt with my light wash H&M denim culottes (which I'm completely in love with - and which I'll make a whole video on). For shoes I went with my black suede heeled boots from OFFICE and also wore this stunning structured leather cross body bag. This outfit really gives me K-style vibes. Korean women are always so effortlessly chic and that's what this outfit also is to me. Even though it is super comfy and airy, it still is an eye catcher outfit - And I love it.

For jewelry, I went for my classic silver fit. I wear my sterling silver neckless that has  a 'J'-charm by Thomas Sabo on it. My watch is by Marc Jacobs and the bracelet is from Pandora. My rings, I got from street / flea markets all over the world - sorry for not being more precise ; I know that a few people have been really interested in them but they are just souvenirs from different trips. :S :P

ITEMS:

Embroidered Shirt  - Zara
Denim Culottes - H&M
Boots - OFFICE London
Cross Body Bag - Mably (bought at TK Maxx)
Watch - Marc Jacobs
Bracelet - Pandora

I really really hope you guys liked this post. I started this blog mainly to document my daily outfits - so I guess it's about time to actually start doing it. I would love to hear your opinion on this post and the outfit - so please leave me some comments :)

Until next time - all the best xx,

J. S.
